THE LONG (SOMEWHAT SERIOUS) ANSWER:

Chris was born many many years ago in a small town in New Hampshire that most people have never heard of. His short films and videos have screened at film festivals and in museums around the world, as well as in coffeeshops, bars, garages, basements, rooftops, and backyards. His short film and video collection, entitled RED KNOWLEDGE, will be released in early 2010. RED KNOWLEDGE includes the award-winning EXPECTING, THE MEAT MARKET and THE SPIN CYCLE, as well as the non-narrative works, TRAUMA, CLOCK PAINT EYEBALL and CREMAINS, among others.

Chris has been a working producer and production manager on independent films and commercials for nearly a decade. Most recently, he produced THE OVERBROOK BROTHERS for Tom Borders’ Sixth Street Films. Directed by John Bryant, THE OVERBROOK BROTHERS had its World Premiere at the 2009 SXSW Film Festival, screening in competition, and went on to play at numerous other festivals around the country, including the 2009 Seattle International Film Festival and the 2009 Woodstock Film Festival. In 2006, Chris worked alongside Academy Award Nominated director Nanette Burstein as a production coordinator on AMERICAN TEEN for A&E Television and Paramount Vantage.

Previously, Chris line produced Mari Marchbanks’ feature film FALL TO GRACE, which premiered at the 2005 SXSW Film Festival and went on to be distributed via Magnolia Pictures’ Truly Indie. He also served as the production manager on THE CASSIDY KIDS, produced by Carolyn Pfeiffer, Megan Gilbride and Bryan Poyser. The film, starring Anne Ramsay, Kadeem Hardison and Judah Friedlander debuted on the Independent Film Channel in the Spring of 2008. Chris also line produced the biopic DRUNKEN ANGEL: THE LEGEND OF BLAZE FOLEY, a documentary chronicling the life and tragic death of singer/songwriter Blaze Foley (to be released in 2010). In 2008, Chris was the production manager on Scott Rice and Austen Menges’ SCRIPT COPS, an 8-part webseries, produced for Sony Pictures’ Crackle.com

As a commercial producer, Chris has overseen projects for clients including Sam’s Club, Premiere Global, Champs Sports, Hoover’s Online, Miracle-Gro, WalMart, The PGA, The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, The University Federal Credit Union, LifeSize Communications, Enspire Learning, Back Yard Burgers, and Chick-Fil-A.

Currently, Chris is in post-production on his directorial feature film debut and is also a co-producer on Bryan Poyser’s upcoming film, LOVERS OF HATE.
